Before using the homemade mask:

  • Please keep children supervised at all times when they are using a mask.
  • Masks should not be worn by infants and toddlers under 3 as they could be a choking or suffocation hazard.
  • Children should be supervised by an adult at all times when wearing a face mask to ensure safety.
  • The mask must cover your mouth, nose and chin. Do not wear it under your nose.

  • Wash your hands or use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser containing at least 60% alcohol before wearing the mask and when removing it.
  • Machine or hand wash with soap or a mild detergent, air dry preferred. In the direct sun is best. Using a dryer is fine too.
